While we have always followed strict sanitation guidelines at SWI Photography, we implemented several additional safety measures last year, designed to combat the spread of COVID-19 and make your students and our staff feel completely confident in our ability to foster a safe environment.

These guidelines also include:

• Photograph seniors by confirmed appointment only.
• Session appointments must be booked online and paid for in advance for no-touch payments.
• For safety reasons, family members and guests will not be allowed in the photography and waiting areas.
• Students must supply their own white t-shirt or tank top to be worn under the provided formal attire.

At SWI Photography, the health and well-being of our customers and photographers, and staff continue to be our number one priority.

We are taking extra precautions this year because the safety of you, your families, and our employees are our #1 priority. These new processes follow the guidelines and recommendations written by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), U.S. Department of Health (HHS), and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards related to COVID-19.

Please note that protocols may change based on new or revised recommendations from local and national government agencies.

We have also created a short video to provide to schools and families to help inform everyone of our new steps we are taking to improve safety. Once you watch this video, please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

TOGETHER WE WILL (SAFELY) CONQUER THE SCHOOL YEAR 2021

MAY 15, 2020

WE ARE READY FOR THE CLASS OF 2021
IT IS TIME TO (SAFELY) MOVE INTO THE NEXT SCHOOL YEAR TOGETHER

While we have always followed strict sanitation guidelines at SWI Photography, we will implement several additional safety recommendations from the local, state and federal governments as well as the CDC, designed to combat the spread of COVID-19 and make your students and our staff feel completely confident in our ability to foster a safe environment.

Specifically, these guidelines include:

Occupancy Limits and Session Fees
• New COVID-19 occupancy limits require us to photograph seniors by confirmed appointment only.
• Session appointments must be booked online and paid for in advance for no-touch payments.
• During these uncertain times, seniors are encouraged to book their session early to ensure they are photographed before session times sell out and before any new restrictions may be put into effect.

Social Distancing
• Arranging the photography setups throughout the area so that we comply with all local and phase guidelines on slowing the spread of COVID-19
• For safety reasons, family members and guests will not be allowed in the photography and waiting areas

Sanitation/Preventive Measures
• Performing a thorough cleaning and sanitization of every photography set up
• Utilizing medical grade disinfectant to regularly spray all contact surfaces
• Masks and gloves to be worn by all SWI staff while recommended by CDC
• Having sanitation stations throughout the setups for student use
• All props that are used by a student will be thoroughly sanitized before use by another student
• Students must supply their own white t-shirt, or tank top to be worn under the provided formal attire

Additional Precautions
• Closely monitoring the health and well-being of staff members, and instructing anyone who is not feeling well to stay home

We are continuously monitoring the situation and applying additional measures as needed, as health and safety are our top considerations in this unprecedented situation. We are grateful for the opportunity to work with each of our seniors
and families to document this most memorable time in their life.

MARCH 18, 2020

At SWI Photography, the health and well-being of our customers and photographers, and staff continue to be our number one priority. With the growing concerns about the spread of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19), we are taking measures to keep everyone as safe as possible.

Given the concerted global efforts to help slow the COVID-19 outbreak, we’ve decided that our Studios will be closed for photography sessions and retakes until further notice.

Some of the steps we are taking include:

  • Educating our staff/photographers on prevention
  • Thoroughly sanitizing our studios and photography equipment above and beyond our current cleaning measures
  • Embracing Social Distancing

SWI Photography knows that the school districts we serve make their decisions with great information, insight and always put the welfare of students first. We intend to follow their lead and temporarily close our studios to the public for the same amount of time.

We will continue to fulfill orders, and our Customer Service Team is available for additional questions you may have over the phone or via appointment only.

If you have received a notification from us regarding an upcoming photo day at your school, please disregard and the same pre-pay picture day promotions will be available once school resumes and that picture day is rescheduled.

Once we receive word from the local government, CDC, and the school board that it is safe to open, we will be thoroughly sanitizing our studios and photography equipment above and beyond our current cleaning measures to ensure your safety.

We extend our sincere appreciation for your business and thank you for your support as we all navigate these times together.
